PURPOSE:
The UPDD provides appropriate design standards for the development of properties within the University Planned Development District (UPDD) Boundary. These standards recognize and support the area’s unique development character and significance of the University as a primary source for development in this subject area.
DUTIES:
Reviews and approves applications for any building or development of property within the UPDD boundary.
COMPOSITION:
5 Members – the Director of Planning and Zoning or his/her designee, Planning and Zoning Chairman, City Engineer or his/her designee and 2 citizens who reside in Ward 5 as shown by the Member Committee Zone Map.
TERM:
3 years - Citizen members shall serve no more than one consecutive three-year term
